The historic center of São Brás de Alportel (Algarve) will undergo reconstruction in an investment that will amount to €500,000. Work should be put out to tender by early June, says Vítor Guerreiro, president of the local authority. The project encompasses an area that includes all of the Largo de São Sebastião and the first portion of Avenida da Liberdade. The work should be completed by June 2017. “The aim with this work is the return an area of the city to the people by completely abolishing traffic,” said António Guerreiro.
