HB Reavis and J&T revive Nové Lido project for Bratislava

13 May 2016

HB Reavis and J&T Real Estate are trying to revive Nové Lido, a vast development in Bratislava on the right side of Danube opposite Eurovea. The new district would include modern public space and a waterfront area. Architects from architectural studios Compass, Jakub Cigler Architekti and Marko & Placemakers are currently trying to drum up support for the project in an effort to trigger public discussion. HB Reavis and J&T own the majority of the land in the area between Danube, Einsteinova street, Old bridge and the Apollo bridge. The current zoning was completed a decade ago, and is now considered to be outdated. The developers have thus hired studio Bouda Masár Architekti to prepare a new urban study, which should serve as the basis for changes to the city’s master plan for the area.
