Bank Pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank financed the acquisition of two warehouse facilities of Amazon, located in Poznań and Wrocław, with a €78m loan. The buyer, GLL Real Estate Partners, acted on of behalf of an undisclosed Asian investor.
Worth a total of €140m, the transactions set a new record for the Polish warehouse market. The vendor is believed to have achieved a yield of far below 6 percent thanks to 15-year leases with Amazon in both centers. The US on-line giant has already confirmed the first sale and leaseback transaction in Wrocław is underway.
