Alpha Bank’s Macedonian branch sells for €1.2m

The Macedonian branch of Alpha Bank has been sold for €1.2m. The name of the buyer was not disclosed. Under the deal, 10,305 shares were traded at €116.6 per share. The sale of the subsidiary is proof that Greek bank is still trying to recover from the crippling financial crisis.

The agreement that Greece signed with the European Union covers the recapitalization of the banking sector, which will require some lenders to undergo restructuring.
