The businessman António Oliveira has launched a new investment targeting the tourist sector in Porto, taking an older building on Sá da Bandeira Street and restoring it into a 5-star hotel. Hotel A Brasileira, as the new hotel will be called, is to be managed by the Pestana Group. It will offer 90 room, including four suites, a wine bar and restaurant, wellness center and gym, along with an open interior courtyard. Renovation work will begin over the summer and should allow the hotel to open at the end of 2017. It’s to be Pestana group’s third hotel in Porto.
