The Romanian unemployment rate fell to 6.4 percent in March, down by 0.1 percent from the previous month, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). The unemployment rate for men was 1.1 percent higher than for women.
The number of unemployed between the ages of 15 and 74 in March dropped to 592,000, down from 597,000 in February. In March 2015, the number of unemployed between the ages of 15 and 74 was 613,000, according to INS.
