Berlin Hyp is providing €125m to Gramercy Property Europe for the acquisition of a mixed commercial portfolio in Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. The portfolio comprises a total of twelve single-tenant buildings with four in Germany, two in Poland and six in the Netherlands.
The total rental area of the portfolio is approximately 280,000 sqm. All properties have long-term leasing agreements with tenants such as Cofely and Hornbach. Gramercy Property Europe is an investment fund that targets single tenant net leased assets and sale leaseback transactions across Europe. The fund has initial equity commitments of €350m and will invest predominantly in industrial, office and specialty retail assets in Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, the United Kingdom and other targeted European countries.
