A new three-star property in Belmonte has resulted from a €2m investment. The new hotel has 27 rooms, including two family suites and a room adapted for people with disabilities. The Hotel Monte Sinai was converted from an older building located in the center of Belmonte village. It’s expected to be frequented primarily by Jewish tourists and therefor offers kosher cuisine. The village of Belmonte is particularly associated with the history of the Jewish community resistance and it attracts a significant number of tourists on this basis.
