Armada Hoffler Properties acquires Annapolis Junction Town Center

Armada Hoffler Properties has announced a $42 million investment in the multifamily component of Annapolis Junction Town Center. Residences at Annapolis Junction Town Center, will pursue LEED Silver certification and feature 416 apartment homes with structured parking adjacent to the Savage MARC Commuter Rail Station. The $102 million, 18 acre mixed use scheme will encompass 17,000 sqf of retail space, a 150 room hotel and 100,000 sqf of office space. Ground will be broken on the apartment building in the second quarter of 2016, with estimated completion in the first quarter of 2018.

The development is located between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, approximately two miles from Fort Meade, which is home to both the National Security Agency and the U.S. Cyber Security Command, and includes an additional six million square feet of commercial office park space.
