Construction has begun on an ecologically-themed project called Nest Hotel 70 km from Moscow on the Kirzhach River, near the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod highway. The developer of the project is Alliance De Luxe, which is owned by Vyacheslav Shiryaev. He says the 6 ha site he’s building on will accommodate 30 tree homes, as well as 15 cottages on the water. The eco-hotel concept calls for a minimum of environmental impact, meaning that there will be no paved roads or permanent structures (including underground utilities). The project does include facilities such as a boat station, rope playground, children’s and sports playgrounds, club, kayak rentals, and fishing equipment.
According Shiryaev, Nest Hotel will accept its first guests this summer. “Nest Hotel is a network project,” writes Shiryaev. “Now we are purchasing land near St. Petersburg, and our plans are to open similar eco-hotels in Sochi, the Crimea, and on the Sea of Azov.”
