Estonian wooden house exports up nearly 30% in 2015

A total of €278m worth of wooden houses from Estonian manufacturers were exported to 52 countries in 2015, up 28.2 percent from the previous year, according to the Baltic News Service. The biggest export market was Norway, where sales of wooden houses amounted to €95m last year, the latest figures from Estonia show. Sweden was a distant second with €50.7m in sales, followed by Germany (€48m), the UK (€20.8m), France (€16.2m), Finland (€14.1m) and the Netherlands (€7.7m). Sales in Russia and Denmark decreased.
