20 April 2016

Penta co-owner Marek Dospiva has revealed that the investment group plans to strengthen its focus on real estate, which currently makes up 18 percent of the group’s net value and should increase to 20 percent. Penta‘s real estate arm is close to closing on two plots it intends to use for residential projects: a former brewery in Prague 4 Nusle and an old hospital complex on Chittussi street in Prague 6 – Bubeneč. The city will relocate the hospital to Prague 6 Břevnov after which Penta would buy the hospital complex and some adjacent land from a private investor. On the office side, the group looks set to put its Florentinum office complex on the market. Penta has also begun construction of the second office building in the Waltrovka area in Prague 5.
