The former director of Skanska Property Nicklas Lindberg will replace Piotr Gromniak
as CEO of Echo Investment with immediate effect. The move is intended to allow the company to move forward with its development program not just in Poland but in Europe as well, according to the president of Echo’s supervisory board Karim Khairallah.
Lindberg has been working for the Swedish developer Skanska for the last fifteen years, most recently as head of its European operations, including the CEE and Polish markets. He started in Skanska’s residential division in Scandinavia and served as financial director for the company’s Russian division for four years.
Taken over by Griffin Group and PIMCO last year in a transaction that gave the new investors nearly 66 percent in the company, Echo Investment has been active on the market for the last twenty years, and had been led by Gromniak since 2008.
