Ducati Komponenti is planning to break ground on a new plant in Ludbreg, northern Croatia, this year. The new 4,000 sqm facility, which will manufacture low-voltage condensers and smart meter coils, is expected to cost about €3m. Completion is scheduled for 2017. The factory will be staff with 30 employees.
“Every initiative which creates jobs makes us happy. In the current state of the Croatian economy, with more than 100,000 jobs lost over the past four years, with so many people emigrating from Croatia because they can’t find work, this investment indeed makes us happy,” said First Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Karamarko.
