Best Westin’s Cristescu takes over as CEO of Chopin Airport Development

Gheorghe Marian Cristescu has been appointed the new president of the Chopin Airport Development company. Cristescu has been in charge of Best Western’s operations in Poland and Baltic markets for the past few years. His extensive experience in the hotel development is what helped Cristescu to win the position. Recently, he was involved in remodeling of the Jurata hotel into Best Westin brand.

Cristescu has 19 years of experience in the hotel sector. In the period, he has been working for Orbis Group and Best Western International. Chopin Airport Development, which is part of PPL group, is the developer and manager of Courtyard by Marriott, two Hampton by Hilton, located at Warsaw’s and Gdańsk airports, and Jurata.
