Electric Plus, owner of windows manufacturer Barrier, opened a new factory that produces insulating glass as well as a production hall for residential and industrial sectional doors and roller shutters in Bacau. Project costs hit €7m. Construction started in 2014 and lasted 18 months.
“The investment that we inaugurate today concludes the first developing cycle of our business, started in 2012. Investments made in this first cycle totaled €12m. The new investments are going to help us to strengthen our presence on the local market,” said Adrian Garmacea, the company’s general director. Electric Plus opened a factory in Bacau in 2003.
