Hungarian building materials company Masterplast opened a new €7.5m plant in Subotica, Serbia. This is the second phase of a larger project that started in 2008. Masterplast secured a €4.3m bank loan for the second phase, while the Serbian government contributed €2m.
The 12,000 sqm facility created about 200 new jobs. Masterplast plans to deliver the third phase of the project in 2017.
