The Podvinný mlýn office complex in Prague 9 has changed hands. Česká spořitelna’s real estate investment fund CPDP2 sold the complex to a private Czech investor, whose name was not released. The deal was brokered by 108 Agency. The new owner plans to modernize the complex and refurbish it into a student dormitory. Part of the space will be continue to be used as offices. The new owner also plans to add retail to the complex. Podvinný mlýn, built in 1992, includes two office buildings that were used by the Prague Stock Exchange in the 1990. It offers a total of 11,000 sqm of usable space and a 6,144 sqm plot. It is located next to Arena Sparta and another mixed-use sports area, making it a perfect location for student accommodation, says Marek Votava of 108 Agency.
