According to a new study by the travel website Hoppa.com, Budapest has become the world’s cheapest travel destination. Hoppa’s analysts took into consideration such indicators as the price of a taxi ride, a cup of coffee, dinner and drinks as well as the price of a night in a hotel. Analyzing the numbers from 46 countries, the city of Budapest ranked number one for being the cheapest with all costs coming to an extremely low total of £40.34 per day. Dubai was named the most expensive city with all included costs rounding up to £278.92. Following Dubai in the expensive rankings were New York City, the African nation of Botswana, Marrakech and Sydney.
