Slovak government has bought out claims of 341 creditors of Váhostav through the state owned company Slovenská reštrukturalizačná. It paid €10.6m for claims worth €22.6m. Slovenská reštrukturalizačná had received 437 claims by March 24, but a total of 670 creditors were entitled to the compensation, writes Pravda.sk. Slovenská reštrukturalizačná pays the creditors 50 percent of the value of their claim. The company was established by the Finance ministry in July last year to be able to redeem the claims of unsecured creditors. Construction company Váhostav has been in restructuring since last year.
