VIYM begins RUB 10bn office and residential scheme in Moscow

Andrey Yakunin’s Investment Fund VIY Management (VIYM) will start the construction of offices and apartments along the Rublevo-Uspensky highway in Moscow. The total volume of the investment is expected to exceed RUB 10bn. Andrey Yakunin is the son of the former head of JSC Russian Railways, Vladimir Yakunin. VIYM’s pans are for more than 140,000 sqm of space to be built.
VIY Management specializes in the hotel sector, with a stake in the St. Petersburg Four Seasons, and three European hotels in Vienna, Davos and in Umbria (Italy). It also has interests in agribusiness, paper production, gold mining and chocolate production. As of August 2015, VIYM held an estimated $400m of assets under management.
