Paribas Real Estate has arranged the lease of 1,650 sqm of office space at Lilienthalstraße 8 in Wiedemar (near Leipzig) to two tenants. The first lease is to a major car producer which already uses nearly 1,000 sqm in the building. The second tenant, a building materials company, has taken 650 sqm in the building. The property’s owner is a private investor. Leipzig’s office market has seen significant growth, while BNP Paribas says the warehouse and logistics sector could also see increased leasing this year, having produced 250,000 in take-up during 2015.
