Palmer Capital Continental Europe opened a new Penny Market in a building it recently refurbished in the center of the Czech city of Zlín. A long term lease for the 1,400 sqm space is one of a series of deals Palmer closed since the acquisition of the former post office in 2012. A Kozlovna restaurant also signed a lease recently in the building. Located adjacent to the city hall, the building has undergone renovation to offer more convenient access for pedestrians from the main square, including an escalator, as well as 55 parking places. “Given its location and its former role as a post office, the building is somewhat of an institution in Zlín,” says Zbyněk Laube, Head of Asset and Development Management CEE at Palmer Capital Continental Europe. “We have only two remaining commercial units left for lease.”
