The property located on St Elizabeth Square in the center of Budapest is currently undergoing renovation including the addition of Ritz-Carlton Club, new luxury suites and a new concepts at the hotel’s dining outlets. The luxury hotel chain plans to open the new property this spring, but rooms and suites can already be reserved.
The pre-modern residential and office building, formerly known as Adria Palace, was built between 1914 and 1918, based on the plans of Móric Pogány and Emil Tőry. Previously, the ground floor was occupied by shops and the attic was used as studios. Subsequently, the Budapest Police made its headquarters for many years until 1997.
