Estonia’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector grew by 28.3 percent y-o-y in the fourth quarter of 2015, posting an overall profit of €49.8m for the last three months of the year, according to Statistics Estonia. The sales volume for ICT companies hit €844.5m, down 12.4 percent from Q4 2014, but up 4 percent q-o-q. The sector posted a profit of roughly €73m in Q3. There were 2,418 companies active on the Estonian ICT market in Q4. Wage costs for the sector’s 20,142 employees were 12 percent higher y-o-y and 11.8 percent higher q-o-q, according to the latest data.
