Prologis will have to defend its purchase of land in Syrovice near Brno in the Regional Court in Brno. The developer paid CZK 250m for the site to Deveplan in 2009. However, the company later went bankrupt and its creditors claim the land should be included as one of the company’s assets because of an alleged mistake in the purchase contract. The server e15 reports that Prologis planned to build an industrial park on the site. While the supreme court in Olomouc ruled in 2012 that the land should not be part of the Deveplan bankruptcy assets, the Supreme court of the Czech Republic later cancelled the verdict later because of formal reasons. The Regional court in Brno is now to give the final ruling.
