Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) is still looking for a buyer for Zuno internet bank, according to Lidové noviny. The head of the RBI group, Karel Sevelda, said that even though ABH Holdings withdrew its bid, the seller can restart negotiations with other potential buyers. He also said that ABH’s withdrawal came as a surprise. Four potential buyers – banks, a private equity fund, and an European telecom company — are still interested in the acquisition. Lidove noviny hints that Norwegian Telenor and French BNP Paribas are among the potential buyers. ABH offered €35m for the internet bank.
