The public presentation of the Urban Regeneration Action Plan that the Municipal Council of Portimão (Algarve) has developed for the Urban Rehabilitation (ARU) in the region is scheduled for March in the Municipal Theatre of Portimão. The preparation of the plan is a required step in the implementation of the town’s intervention strategy for its historical center area. The presentation of the regeneration plan will be accompanied by an explanation of the Financial Instrument for Urban Rehabilitation (IFRU) in which it is spelled out that private entities will be allowed to finance urban interventions.
