More than 47,000 residential units were completed on the Romanian market in 2015, up with roughly 10 percent from the previous year, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS).
The number of units in urban areas increased by 25.5 percent y-o-y in Q4, while the number of units in rural areas increased by 1.2 percent y-o-y, the data shows. The number of units financed by private funds increased by 4,026 in 2015 compared to the previous year, while the number of units financed by public funds increased by 402.
