The German retail chain Lidl is planning to launch a logistics and e-commerce facility in a refurbished existing building at CTPark Plzen. The facility plus an extension will cover 30,000 sqm of space. Construction is set to get underway this week and the facility is scheduled for full operation by the end of the year. Other recent deals at the park include a 10,000 sqm lease by Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense with an option to expand by 5,000 sqm this year. Lagermax Spedice and SGL also expanded their space at CTPark Plzen. Construction on a 5,000 sqm facility is moving forward for a global producer of automotive seating and electrical systems. The handover is scheduled for May.
