MedLife concludes €56m credit agreement

The private healthcare provider MedLife has contracted a €56m loan from Banca Comerciala Romana, ING Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and BRD Groupe Societe Generale. According to the representatives of the private medical network, €20m of these funds are intended solely for upcoming acquisitions that will extend MedLife operations in the country.

“At the moment, we are competing for all the companies in the private Romanian sector and not only, and with some of them are already in advanced talks. We do not exclude any possibility of new financing,” said Mihai Marcu, president of CA MedLife. MedLife recently acquired laboratories and a network of clinics from Diamed.
