Market sources in Hungary suggest that a 110-acre indoor water entertainment center could be built next to Hungaryʼs Lake Balaton between Balatonalmádi and Balatonfűzfő. The costs of the project is estimated at up to €2.5bn. An underwater luxury hotel would also be built in the Fűzfő Bay, which visitors would be transported to using mini-submarines and through cave tunnels. However, the mayor of Balatonalmádi has yet to approve the building of the aqua park, and much planning still has to be carried out to make the project viable.
