Product Trade Centre Germany (PTC Germany) has taken over a new production plant built by the city of Smederevo. PTC plans to open a fish farm as soon as possible and has received promises of government support for the project, according to the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
The factory will soon obtain the permits necessary for the production and export of fish products. Serbia’s PM said that the plant will begin operations in two months, employing 100 people in the first stage and 300 people once it’s running at full capacity. PTC Germany was founded in December 2009. In 2010, PTC opened its first production site in Bremerhaven, Germany.
