P3 Logistic Parks started construction of a 27,000 sqm manufacturing plant for Faurecia in Záhorie near Bratislava. Faurecia will produce car seats for Volkswagen’s automotive plant in Bratislava in the new factory. The plant is scheduled for completion in summer 2016, with full operations expected to be achieved by next year. This is Faurecia’s sixth plant in Slovakia. P3 is developing two industrial parks in Slovakia, in Lozorno and in Žilina, totalling 150,000 sqm, with capacity to build on a further four hectares. Head of Development P3 Slovakia Peter Jánoši says the developer began construction works on a further two industrial sheds, and is negotiating with potential tenants.
