The restoration work that’s due to take place at the Bolhão Market in Porto should begin this summer. According to Porto City Hall, the beginning of the redevelopment of the area will not result, at least immediately, in the eviction of the building’s shop keepers. The modernization project, which includes the construction of a logistics basement and a tunnel, will be the subject of an international public tender to be launched in the coming months.
