Epoch Residential begins work on residential project near Maitland SunRail station

Epoch Residential, based in Winter Park, has started construction on a $47 million transit-oriented apartment complex. Located on the old Parker Lumber Yard next to the Maitland SunRail stop, the site is located near the intersection of Maitland Boulevard and North Orange Avenue. Plans call for a five story 293 unit complex. Epoch Maitland Station Apartments LLC paid $5.2 million in January to buy the 5.3-acre site from Parker Lumber Co. The company’s in-house construction firm is the general contractor, while Maitland-based Charlan Brock & Associates have been tapped as the projects architect. This scheme marks the second SunRail based development for Epoch. The company recently completed the $32 million, 200-unit Station House complex near the Lake Mary stop.
