The town is prioritizing ongoing work at the city’s Cultural Center for 2016, along with a multipurpose public building in Sunny Beach seaside park in Obzor, a mini-football pitch in the city’s historic district and work on a senior citizens homes.

New projects have also been chosen, including a new park around the mini-football pitch, public space improvements around the Cultural Center and a second football pitch for the city. Nesebar plans to build a new sport complex in the future, along with a summer theater and underground parking space.

Construction of the new cultural center in Nessebar began early last year and is funded entirely by the local budget. The four-storey building will have a theater and a seating capacity of 300 seats, along with facilities for conferences and rehearsal rooms.
