Construction work has begun on the 649-foot Residences by Armani/Casa tower in Sunny Isles. A Notice of Commencement was signed by Dezer Development and Related Group, who are 50-50 partners in the nearly $1 billion scheme. According to the developers, approximately 50 percent of the units are under contract at an average price of $1,300 per square foot. The 308-unit tower is located at 18975 Collins Ave. and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
