Lek opens new labs in Mengeš

Following a €10m investment, the pharmaceutical company Lek opened new labs and expanded its center in Mengeš, north of Ljubljana. The company plans to hire 100 new employees.

The expansion includes labs that will develop bio-pharmaceutical products and will oversee quality control.

Lek is owned by the Swiss multinational Novartis, which has invested €1.6bn in the pharmaceutical company.
