Savills IM RI acquires projects in Berlin and Hanover

Savills IM Real Invest has acquired the Bertha Berlin office building located in Berlin’s Lehrte quarter and the planned Deutsche Bahn headquarters at the old Lister Dreieck bus station in Hanover. The company acquired both properties in a forward commitment for a total of €200m. The vendor of the property is a joint venture between Becken Development and HanseMerkur which had planned to complete the investment by the fall of 2016. The other investment in the deal, Lister Dreieck in Hanover, is being built by Kölbl Kruse and its completion is scheduled for Q4 of 2018.
