The German company Dorint has sold the Dorint Don Giovanni in Prague 10 to the Czech Inn Hotels and a group of foreign investors. Czech Inn Hotels is the hotel’s new operator. No price was revealed for the transaction, which will result in the hotel’s name being changed to Hotel Don Giovanni. The hotel’s new director Markéta Hedejová told ČTK that the new owner intends to invest tens of millions of Czech crowns in order to raise the level of services of the four-star hotel. Hotel Don Giovanni has 400 rooms and 30 conference rooms with a capacity of 2,000 places. It was opened in 1995 and was originally part of the Rogner chain. Dorint took over the hotel in 2000. Czech Inn Hotels was formed in 2003 and currently has a network of 17 hotels with 1,100 rooms.
