Salt Lake City-based Extra Space Storage has purchased an Uncle Bob’s Self Storage facility in Jacksonville for $9 million. The 113,000 square-foot storage center is located at 100 Girvin Road. Extra Space Storage owns or operates approximately 1,000 self-storage properties in 35 states including 667,000 storage units with more than 74 million square feet of storage space. The seller, Girvin Investments LLC, bought the self storage complex in 2007 for $1.1 million.
