Three student housing complexes sold to Investcorp for $105m

Investcorp, a Bahrain-based investment manager, has acquired three student housing complexes near Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton sold for a combined $105.25 million. The first sale, University Park, has 598 beds in 159 units and changed hands for $70 million. The second, University View, a 55-townhome community with 165 beds adjacent to FAU, sold for $20.25 million. The final transaction was for a 90-unit low rise project called University Square, which traded for $15 million. The vendor was a partnership between Rosemurgy Properties, Giles Capital and Lewis Rental Properties. The deal was financed with a $58 million loan from Nationwide Life Insurance.
