The Macedonian government signed a €31m deal with the Indian metal products manufacturer BRG Group for modernizing and restarting production at the former Porcelanka factory, located in Veles.
“Now Porcelanka is getting a new owner, a very powerful company that brings new machines, knowhow and intends to employ 1,000 workers from Veles and its surrounding,” said the Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski who attended the agreement signing ceremony on Tuesday.
India’s BRG Group will manufacture steel kitchenware in the new factory and export to other European countries.
