Hungarian central bank’s euro reserves decrease in 2015

The National Bank of Hungary said its euro reserves decreased by €4.256bn in 2015 to €30.322bn. The current level, the lowest in six and a half years, is still way above the country’s debt. The reserves decreased by €2.818bn in December after €1.6bn in state bonds, issued by the treasury and the State Debt Management Center, matured.
