The average monthly salary in Croatia dropped 4 percent y-o-y to €686 in the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the latest official figures. However, the average monthly salary for 2015 as a whole was €708, 1 percent higher than the previous year.
The typical monthly salary for top executives was 128 percent above the average, and salaries in the technology and development sectors were 80 percent above the average. By comparison, the average monthly salary in the clothes and footwear industry was 43 percent below the average, while jobs in the services sector paid 35 percent below the average.
