Romanian Ministry of Culture holding tender to add services to its HQ

8 January 2016

The Romanian Ministry of Culture wants to open a cafe and a restaurant in its headquarters on Unirii Boulevard in Bucharest. The National Library also operates on the same premises. A request has already been submitted to the government.

“These are two government decisions that we are initiating, one is for approving the leasing of the space within the space where the Ministry of Culture operates and where we want to open a cafe,” the Minister of Culture, Vlad Alexandrescu, said. The second government decisions initiated by the Ministry of Culture implies opening a restaurant in the same building, in a space which remained undivided property between the Ministry of Culture and the National Library.

The Ministry of Culture plans to launch tenders for renting both those spaces after it gets a greenlight from the government.
