The municipality of Burgas has begun construction on a new city library along with the city’s new Museum of Contemporary Art. City mayor Dimitar Nikolov made the announcement at the presentation of the city’s draft budget. The library is currently housed in a former German hospital that is to undergo reconstruction. The project manager is Dizarh, which won a tender in 2014 for the order.
The total investment amounts €5m and is being co-financed by European funds and the municipal budget.
