ČP Invest and Generali Investments CEE have merged to create the largest investment entity on the Czech market. The CZK 250bn company will operate under the Generali Investment CEE brand, incorporating the investment company (ČP Invest) and the asset manager (Generali Investments CEE). Hospodářské noviny writes that the goal is to enable the group to react faster to changes on the market and to widen its activities to include corporate clients. Czech National Bank approved the merger.
