The construction volume on the Romanian market was up by 9.7 percent in the first 10 months of the year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Construction on engineering buildings increased by 15 percent and by 6 percent for non-residential buildings. Construction on residential buildings, meanwhile, decreased by 1.3 percent.
